Don’t use toothpaste as it may contain abrasive substances that cloud the clear plastic. If you must use a detergent, clear, non-toxic soap will do. Rinse your aligner with cold or lukewarm water. Never use hot water, as it can disfigure your appliances. This helps to remove food debris and bacteria that may have accumulated during the day and at night.
